Jed Dance is the third generation in his family to own Bacon & Company since beginning in 1925. Since becoming President of the company ten years ago. He has been able to add two new divisions to the company with Team Sports and Facility Branding. Jed went to the University of Tennessee where he got a  degree in Marketing from the years 1985-89. He also played football for the school at the tight end position. After completing his undergraduate degree he immediately joined the family-owned company as a sales representative for his father to incorporate retailing. Jed has been able to exemplify excellent leadership and business skills that have made qualified as one of the top businessmen in the Knoxville area. Outside of work, Jed likes to spend time with his family, which includes his wife Marsha and three sons Jack, Baker, and Hunter.
